Spring / Summer 2021 photoshoot trip
As we're always keen on spending time outdoors we wanted our next lookbook shoot to be combined nature retreat/photoshoot. Our plan was to spend a weekend in Finnish wilderness, wind down, field test our products and capture the process along the way. We picked our destination to be Repovesi National Park near Kouvola, Finland. So we packed our photographer Valtteri's vintage Volkswagen Syncro van with camping gear, food and naturally with plenty of shoes. Our retreat companions followed with another van.
After an hour of driving towards the sun set we received a call from our friends. They had a flat tire and needed us to come and check the situation. So we turned back and found our friends by the motorway. Unfortunately the tire wasn't fixable with our toolkit so all of us had to squeeze in the Syncro, turn back to Helsinki and forget about the serenity of Repovesi that was waiting us.
The good thing is that Finland is full of pristine nature so we decided to relocate our retreat / photoshoot to the recreational area of Luukki which is closer to Helsinki. Once we finally arrived, we set up our tents (and hammocks) and immersed ourselves in nature.

Our plan is to continue doing these retreats regularly so fingers crossed our commuting will be smoother in the future. Hope to see you next time Repovesi!
